1. The service
Surface is a usage-priced API and MCP server that checks URLs (redirects, status, final host) and returns a verdict. It does not return page content.
2. Pricing
The first 1,000,000 requests each month are free. After that, requests are billed per 1,000 at the rates shown on /billing (USD), or under the $50 CAD/month plan if you subscribe. Payments are processed by Stripe. Prices may change with notice on this site; changes do not apply to usage already made.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use Surface to attack, overload or scan systems you are not authorized to test, to generate artificial traffic, or for anything unlawful. We may rate-limit, suspend or revoke keys that abuse the service.
4. API keys
Keep your key secret. You are responsible for usage made with it. The public demo key is shared and may be limited at any time.
5. No warranty
Surface is provided "as is" and "as available". Verdicts are automated and may be wrong; decide for yourself whether to fetch a URL.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Canada Site Ops is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Surface in the 3 months before the claim.
7. Privacy

8. Termination
You may stop using Surface at any time. We may end or change the service with reasonable notice.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
